Optech Scientific Instruments was formed in July 1985 to specialise in the servicing of microscopes and microtomes of any manufacturer, offering our customers reliable, high quality service at competitive rates. This is still our paramount aim. 

 

PHYTOBOTANICA is an established UK company started by Dr. Jane Collins growing medicinal and aromatic plants for their essential oils and marketing these genuine oils directly to the customer.

Quorum Technologies is the home of the Polaron range. For nearly 40 years the Polaron range has been at the forefront of electron microscopy (EM) sample preparation. Since 2001 the Polaron brand has been wholly owned and managed by Quorum Technologies who are based in Newhaven in the UK. In 2005 we acquired the Emitech business and are proud to add their exciting products and expertise to our team. We manufacture and distribute our high reliability instruments throughout the world, with applications in scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), FIB, and environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM). Our customers include most of the worlds academic institutions as well as leading commercial and governmental research facilities.
